Zusammenfassung
In der Vergangenheit hat die Markenführung in Forschung und Praxis eine primär unternehmensexterne Perspektive eingenommen (vgl. Keller 1999, S. 43). Im Verhältnis hierzu haben sich nur wenige Veröffentlichungen durch eine unternehmensinterne Sicht in der Formulierung der Forschungsfragen ausgezeichnet (vgl. Keller 1999, S. 43). Verfolgt man die aktuellen wissenschaftlichen und praktischen Diskussionen zum Thema Marke, zeichnet sich eine zunehmende Relevanz der internen Markenführung ab (vgl. Bruhn 2005, S. 1039). Viele Autoren betonen die Bedeutung von Mitarbeitern als überzeugte Markenbotschafter inner- und außerhalb des Unternehmens (vgl. expl. Ind 2000, S. 83; Wittke-Kothe 2001, S. 3).
