Zusammenfassung
Tumoren haben verschiedene Strategien entwickelt, um sich der Überwachung durch das körpereigene Immunsystem zu entziehen. Neben passiven Mechanismen, wie beispielsweise einer Herunterregulierung von MHC Klasse I Molekülen, sind auch aktive Strategien bekannt, wie etwa die Synthese von immunsuppressiven Faktoren (TGF-β) oder wie kürzlich beim Kolonkarzinom und Melanom entdeckt, die Synthese von Fas-Ligand (FasL) [1, 2]. Dieses Molekül vermag in Zellen, die den korrespondierenden Rezeptor (CD95, Fas, APO-1) besitzen, Apoptose auszulösen [3].
