Abstract
Shoulder replacement arthroplasty is always an elective procedure. The need for shoulder surgery depends on the diagnosis. If surgery is considered necessary, the decision to proceed with replacement arthroplasty must be freely made by the physician and patient. Accordingly, high demands are placed on the safety of the procedure and its result.
