Zusammenfassung

Zur operativen Therapie des Zervixkarzinoms stehen uns die Methoden der vaginalen Radikaloperation und der abdominalen Radikaloperation zur Verfügung. Heute bilden diese Methoden zwei unterschiedliche the-rapeutische Welten. Dies gilt jedoch nur für die derzeit angewendeten ausgefeilten Formen dieser Operationsverfahren. So hat die abdominale Radikaloperation gegenüber ihren ursprünglichen Formen 1919 durch Latzko u. Schiffmann eine beträchtliche anatomische Verfeinerung erfah-ren [25]. Meigs hat 1945 die Lymphonodektomie systematisiert [29], Da-mit steht die abdominale Radikaloperation uns heute in der ausgefeilten Methodik nach Mackenrodt-Latzko-Meigs zur Verfügung [33], Die vaginale Radikaloperation erfuhr gegenüber dem ursprünglichen Verfahren durch Amreich mehrfach tiefgreifende anatomisch begründete Umgestal-tungen [1, 2, 3]. Am Ende dieser Entwicklungen müssen uns deshalb heute die Radikaloperationen des Zervixkarzinoms auf vaginalem und abdominalem Wege als verschiedene Welten erscheinen.
