Zusammenfassung

Es würde sicherlich den Rahmen dieses Buches sprengen, alle verfügbaren zellbiologischen und gentechnologischen Methoden im Einzelnen aufzuführen. Doch sollen einige wenige Methoden beispielhaft beschrieben werden, die geeignet sind, bestimmte routinemäßig auftretende zellbiologische Fragestellungen zu beantworten. Hierher gehören u. a. die Transfektion von Zellen, Methoden zur In-vitro-Toxizität, zur genotoxischen Wirkung von Substanzen auf Zellen und ähnliche Fragestellungen. Es werden hier vor allem anwendungsorientierte Tests beschrieben. Die — täglich anfallenden — Routinemethoden in der Zellkultur sind in den Kapiteln 10 bis 13 ausführlich beschrieben.
