Zusammenfassung
Die Vermeidung von Fehlinterpretationen bei der Beurteilung der CT-Koronaranatomie ist von größter Bedeutung für das weitere diagnostische und therapeutische Prozedere. Die größte Stärke der CT-Koronarangiographie liegt in ihrem hohen negativen prädiktiven Wert von praktisch 100%. Signifikante Stenosen können mit dieser Methode sicher ausgeschlossen werden (▸ Kap. 6). Daher sollte selbst bei initial normal erscheinender CT-Koronarangiographie eine zweite Beurteilung zur Vermeidung falsch-negativer Befunde durchgeführt werden. Darüberhinaus können falsch-positive CT-Befunde nachfolgend einen unnötigen, d.h. vermeidbaren Herzkatheter zur Folge haben.
