Part of the book series: Springer Series in Optical Sciences ((SSOS,volume 43))

Abstract

Calculations are performed for an optical system to build a micro-zone-plate used as an imaging element for a high-resolution x-ray microscope. Ray-tracing methods are developed for this purpose. Calculations in the course of which the parameters of the optical system are varied are carried out to get production tolerances for the optical system. The imaging properties of the resulting micro-zone-plate are evaluated.
