Zusammenfassung
Gegenwärtig herrscht in den Wirtschaftswissenschaften vielfach ein einseitig empiristisches Verständnis ökonomischer Theorie vor. Gerade für den deutschsprachigen Raum ist dies erstaunlich, da wesentliche Aspekte des „linguistic turn“ im Kontext des Methodenstreits bereits von Weber und Hayek für die Ökonomik vorgedacht wurden. Im Rahmen einer knappen Darstellung der Überlegungen der beiden Autoren wird die Bedeutung eines reflektierten Sprachgebrauchs herausgearbeitet. Vor allem die Heuristik der jeweiligen Konzeptualisierungen ist im Blick zu behalten. Dies gilt auch für formalsprachliche Darstellungen, wie am Beispiel der Theorie unvollständiger Verträge dargestellt wird.
