Résumé
L’incapacité à maintenir une station assise prolongée est une des caractéristiques principales de nombre de douleurs périnéales. Le concept de névralgie pudendale est soutenu par des arguments anatomiques en faveur d’un syndrome canalaire du nerf pudendal. La perte de mobilité induite se décompense en station assise puisque le nerf ne pouvant plus se mobiliser, il ne peut alors échapper à l’hyperpression… sauf sur une lunette de toilettes. Ainsi, cette douleur du siège (le territoire douloureux), survenant sur les sièges (assis) diminue sur le siège (des WC)…
