Abstract

Cystometry and urethrocystometry may be accomplished in a number of different ways. One of the variables that influence the performance of urethrocystometry is the size of the catheter or catheters in the urethra utilized to perform the cystometrogram. Research has shown that the larger the catheter or catheters in the urethra, the larger is the artifact that is introduced into the study.
