Very High Resolution Photoelectron Spectroscopy

Part of the book series: Lecture Notes in Physics ((LNP,volume 715))

Abstract

A very-high-resolution molecular photoelectron spectroscopy based on ‘resonantly enhanced multiphoton ionization’ (REMPI) is described, in which zerokinetic-energy (ZEKE) photoelectrons are measured as a function of laser wavelength in two-color experiments with tunable pulsed UV/visible lasers.
