Contemporary concept and general regularities of immunomodulating therapy

Abstract

The article describes the basic principles and regularities of immunomodulating therapy, indications for the application of immunomodulators in the aspect of mono- and combined therapy in oncology, specificities of their action in multiple courses, the duration of modulating effects, side effects, different immunomodulating therapies, their efficacy against the initial immune state, their effects on healthy subjects’ immune indices and metabolism, and their interrelationships with the body’s genetic system.
