Abstract

A change in the angle of attack oscillation amplitude in the spatial motion of an uncontrolled landing module at the restoring moment, described by the odd Fourier series with respect to the angle of attack with the first three harmonics, is considered. Phase trajectory evolution is studied based on an analysis of the action integral, for which the analytical expressions have been found. The formula for the time of appearance of additional equilibrium positions on the phase portrait and for the time of transition between different phase plane regions has been found. The formulas for determining the probability of capture in any region have been found for situations of motion when a phase point can fall in different oscillation regions when crossing the separatrix.
