Abstract
Factors present in normal rabbit serum induce adirectional migration of neutrophils and macrophages. The movement of neutrophils is enhanced by the addition of antigen–antibody complex to the serum, while the movement of macrophages is depressed. A complex pattern of synergism and inhibition appears when serum fractions are combined.
