Abstract

IT is known that molecular oxygen will react with the hexaminecobalt(II)-ion, whereby different kinds of complexes are formed. Among these complexes, the following types are described in the literature: Lately the bonding in these compounds has been much discussed, and it therefore appears to be of considerable interest to establish their structures. Work on the crystal structures of compounds belonging to the first of the above-mentioned types have been going on at this institute for several years. The following compounds have been investigated by the usual X-ray methods:
