Abstract
THE demonstration that noradrenaline constitutes the specific neurohormone of adrenergic nerve fibres (sympathin N)1 has directed attention to the occurrence of this substance in biological material. A recent contribution in this field is the report by Pamela Holton2 that adrenal medullary tumours contain a high proportion of noradrenaline. Normal suprarenal glands also contain noradrenaline, as shown by Holtz3. The present report confirms these findings with the use of different techniques.
