Abstract

IN a recent communication in Nature1, Dr. P. George described manometric experiments which showed a rapid initial decay of the enzyme compared with which the well-known decay due to irreversible destruction was so slow that the rate became almost steady. These experiments were carried out with rather high concentrations of hydrogen peroxide.
