Abstract
With the permanent growing of accessible digital data, commonly denoted as Big Data, the needs of competences of data producers as well as data analysts are changing. The future competence profile will be different and the increase of job offers for Data Scientists as well as iStatisticians shows that also the statistical education has to develop further. Big Data but also new technology challenges change the needs in statistical education. The following article formulates some thoughts to these challenges.
Notes
Zwick (2015a).
