Unfortunately, there were errors in the original publication of the article. The corrected text has been presented with this erratum.
In the section titled, “Synthesis of CdSe:Zn/CdS core–shell NPs”, the last sentence should read, “Then the dried NPs were crushed as fine particles using agate mortar for further characterizations like XRD, UV–vis absorption, photoluminescence, HRTEM and FTIR studies. Figure 1 shows the formation of CdSe:Zn/CdS core–shell NPs.”
In Fig. 5, the legend in x-axis has been misspelled as Wavelemgth instead of Wavelength.
These have been corrected in the original version of the article.
