Western blot of PI-II content in tomato leaves. Four-leaf stage wild-type (WT), spr2 and 35S::PS plants were inoculated with RKN. 10, 20, 30, 40 and 50 days after inoculation with RKN, PI-II levels were measured in the leaf. As controls, PI-II levels were measured in leaves of non-inoculated plants. Four-leaf stage WT and spr2 plants inoculated with RKN were sprayed with exogenous MeJA at 0.5 mM concentrations.
