The bactericidal properties of a number of promising ceramic coatings obtained by magnetron sputtering have been determined. The coatings considered in this work hold much promise for protecting against common causative agents of acute purulent inflammation and surgical complications. The prospects of using the synthesized coatings in medical devices are estimated.
