Zusammenfassung
Die Myokarditis ist eine Entzündung des Myokards mit Ödem, Gefügedilatation und Nekrose der Myozyten. Sie kann sowohl isoliert infolge einer Infektion durch unterschiedliche Erreger als auch im Rahmen einer rheumatischen, granulomatösen, toxischen oder immunologischen Krankheit oder Kollagenose vorkommen.
