Zusammenfassung

Hepatitiden können viraler Genese oder Ausdruck von Autoimmunprozessen sein. In den letzten Jahrzehnten wurden zahlreiche hepatotrope Viren charakterisiert und verschiedenen klinischen Leberkrankheiten zugeordnet. Es sind 5 voneinander verschiedene primär hepatotrope Viren bekannt, die unterschiedliche klinische Verläufe hervorrufen.
