Higher Education Partnerships with Nonprofit and Profit Organizations: An Introduction

Abstract

Higher education institutional partnerships are not purely educational enterprises but are multifaceted collaborations. This introduction outlines the preceding chapters that focus on relationships with nonprofit and profit organizations around mobile learning. The central goal that runs through the chapters is the preparation of students for the STEM focused global economy utilizing the ubiquitous nature of mobile devices.
