Stress can be anything of uncertainty to which the body reacts either in a positive manner (eustress) or negative manner (distress).
Perceived stress is a condition subjectively experienced by respondents who ascertain a disparity between demands placed on them and the resources available to them to meet those demands.
Qualitative overload refers to the tasks and responsibilities given to an employee beyond his abilities, without adequate training or skill building to get it done effectively. Quantitative overload refers to additional responsibilities given to a person, without adequate time, to get them done in a preferable way.
Role overload is the conflict of priorities resulting from expectations that a person performs a wide variety of tasks, which are impossible to complete within the given time limits.
