Abstract
Facial aging is the major indication for minimal invasive aesthetic procedures, including peelings, neuromodulators (botulinum toxin), fillers, and lasers. Combined treatments are usually indicated for a better result, and dermatologists should know from where to start. Fillers and botulinum toxin bring fast results, and if they are indicated, we usually start with these procedures. Patient’s assessment is an essential step. In our routine, topical and oral treatments are prescribed at the first visit, when the number and the order of procedures are planned according to patient’s clinical approach and complaints. In this chapter, we are going to show our experience with fillers in aesthetic dermatology.
