Introduction

One of the most important organizational goals is to identify the appropriate leader attributes and attitudes that would be perceived as helpful by employees in times of crisis and more specifically, during and after the COVID-19 pandemic. The last pandemic urged us to display courage in the face of adversity, to adhere to fair decisions, to be compassionate by showing sensitivity to the concerns of others in situations involving suffering. Each of these virtues requires the situationally appropriate expression of practical wisdom, an overarching capacity for pursuing the good that enables human flourishing amidst cases of frailty (Fowers et al., 2021).
