The Proteomics Protocols Handbook

Part of the book series: Springer Protocols Handbooks ((SPH))

Abstract

This chapter reviews the analytical methods implemented in software packages such as MELANIE (13) and HERMeS (48). Let I(x,y) denote the two-dimensional image, and by convention, the larger* I(x,y) is, the darker the pixel is.
