  • Call for Thematic Issue Papers

    Title of Thematic Issue: Landslide Science for Sustainable Development (WLF6 theme)
    Submission Period: from 1 September 2023 to 1 April 2024.
    The thematic issue will be published in the December issue 2024.
    The papers submitted within this period, but accepted and published online later than June 2024 will be published in a subsequent regular issue.


    Title of Thematic Issue: Impact of global changes on landslide hazard and risk

    Submission Period: from 15 August 2023 to 1 April 2024. 
    All submitted papers are reviewed by the same evaluation system with regular issues. When the number of accepted papers does not reach the required number to constitute a thematic issue, each accepted paper will be published as a regular paper in a subsequent regular issue.

  • Call for Landslide News

    A new category of Landslide News has been created. Papers in this category, to be submitted within 3 months after occurrence, contain news of landslides causing high impacts to society and the environment.
    Length of a news article will be 1-4 printed pages, including photos, geographic location, triggering factors, and impacts to society and the environment. Authors or others inspired by this news can contribute another article, including detailed analysis, to the category of Recent Landslides (6-10 pages), Technical Notes (6-10 pages) or Original papers (less than 12 ages).

  • New Category of Virtual Thematic Issue

    Papers suitable to a virtual thematic issue are collected from published papers in Landslides as one virtual thematic issue. The editor or editors of the planned thematic issue is /are invited to write a paper of the aim and review of collected papers in the category of Editorial in a regular issue. The virtual thematic issue is published online in the section “Virtual Thematic Issues.”
