Abstract
We have investigated the ethylamine sensing of Pyrogallol Red (PGR). This chemosensor exhibited high selectivity for volatile organic compound ethylamine as compared with diethylamine and triethylamine in DMSO. PGR loaded poly(acrylonitrile) nanofiber was exposed to ethylamine vapor, where the resulting color changing properties were clearly monitored.
