Section “Discussion”, the fifth paragraph, should read:
From the mycelial coverage per occupied space (cf. Table 2), and an average hyphal diameter of 2.2 μm (based on measurements of the MDf-ET P. croceum; Weigt et al. 2010), the average distance between two hyphae of P. croceum amounted to 0.045 ± 0.035 (SD) mm.
