Abstract
Abundant radiolarians of the family Neosciadiocapsidae Pessagno (order Nassellaria) are examined, 11 new species, including Coniforma quasiantiochensis sp. nov., Lipmanium? ovalum sp. nov., Microsciadiocapsa devalvensa sp. nov., M. macropora sp. nov., M. mambrini sp. nov., M. mangaleniensis sp. nov., M. quasisutterensis sp. nov., M. tethyensis sp. nov., M.? elegantissima sp. nov., Neosciadiocapsa urquharti sp. nov., and Sciadiocapsa? rugosa sp. nov. are described. Diagnoses of two genera and one species, Coniforma Pessagno, 1969, Microsciadiocapsa Pessagno, 1969, and Sciadiocapsa? rumseyensis Pessagno, 1969 are emended. These species are members of the richest Late Cretaceous radiolarian assemblages from the metalbearing deposits of the Perapedhi Formation of southern Cyprus (Turonian-Santonian).
