The data on numerical modeling of the temperature fields and phase transformations taking place in the surface layer of silumin irradiated with an intensive electron beam are presented. A comparative analysis revealed a good qualitative and quantitative agreement between the results of thermal calculations and structural-phase investigations performed on silumin irradiated with electron beams under varied electronbeam densities and pulse durations.
