Synthesis and characterization of copper substituted lithium manganate spinels

Abstract

LiCu x Mn2−x O4 samples were synthesized by the acrylamide sol–gel process. The samples were characterized by X-ray diffraction studies, TG/DTA. Cells were made with the samples using LiPF6 in propylene carbonate. Charge-Discharge and Capacity fading studies were made on the cells.
