Abstract
Shells of revolution made of a granular composite material with microdamageable components are studied. Microdamages are simulated by spheroidal pores filled with a damaged material. The concentration of pores increases with increasing load. The problem is formulated using the concept of continuous load and the Kirchhoff-Love hypotheses. Solutions are presented for shells of positive and zero Gaussian curvature.
