Abstract
Two species of pinworm, parasites of Testudo graeca Linneaus, 1758 from Morocco, are described: Tachygonetria poulini sp. nov. and Tachygonetria settatensis sp. nov. Light and scanning electron microscopy studies revealed morphological differences in the structure of the cephalic end in both sexes, as well as in the structure of the caudal end in the male, which enabled us to differentiate these species from others, and from each other. The relationships among the species of the genus Tachygonetria are discussed.
