Zusammenfassung

Eltern-Säuglings-/Kleinkind-Beratung und -Psychotherapie bei frühkindlichen Regulationsstörungen haben ein 3-faches Ziel: die kindlichen Verhaltensprobleme zu beheben, überforderte Eltern zu entlasten und belastete Eltern-Kind-Interaktionen/-Beziehungen zu entspannen und in entwicklungsangemessene Bahnen zu lenken. Kinderärzten kommt dabei als primären Ansprechpartnern und vertrauten Beratern der Eltern oder bei Bedarf als Vermittler an entsprechende Spezialambulanzen eine wichtige Aufgabe zu. Am Beispiel des exzessiven Schreiens informiert der Artikel im Überblick über ein Spektrum von Beratungs- und Behandlungsmethoden und deren Wirksamkeit. Neben pädiatrisch-somatischen Aspekten der Therapie werden Möglichkeiten des Kinderarztes in den Bereichen Entwicklungsberatung, Interaktionsanleitung und integrierter Behandlungsangebote dargestellt.

Abstract

Parent-infant/toddler counseling and psychotherapy in cases of infant regulatory disorders have the following three aims: to resolve the child’s behavioral problems, to relieve overstrained parents, and to help counteract distressed parent–infant interactions and disturbed parent–infant relationships. For the parents, pediatricians act as primary, familiar contact persons and consultants and can recommend special health care centers if necessary; therefore, their role is important. Using the example of excessive infant crying, this article gives a survey of various counseling and treatment methods and their efficacy. In addition to the pediatric somatic aspects of treatment, it describes alternatives available to pediatricians in the areas of interaction guidance, integrated methods of intervention, and counseling related to developmental problems.
