Stability of standing waves for nonlinear Schrödinger equations with unbounded potentials

Abstract.

We show he orbital stability of the standing waves in nonlinear Schrödinger equations with a class of unbounded potentials by the method of Cazenave and Lions [3] as well as a compactness lemma.
