The third fundamental form of minimal surfaces in a sphere

Abstract.

We study minimal surfaces in a sphere S n with regard to the following question: to what extent minimal surfaces in S n are determined by restrictions on the Gaussian curvature of the Gaussian image in the sense of Obata?
