La sleeve gastrectomy

Conclusion

La SG occupe une place croissante en chirurgie bariatrique. Comme pour les autres interventions bariatriques, la collaboration avec les gastro-entérologues permet d’évaluer les patients en pré et en post opératoire et de gérer les complications de façon optimale pour le patient. Comme toutes les chirurgies bariatriques restrictives, la SG connaît un taux d’échec en termes de perte de poids; elle doit donc étre envisagée dans un programme de chirurgie séquentielle (SG+DS ou, peut-être SG+by-pass).
