Abstract
Plant diseases that were widespread during Biblical, Mishnaic and Talmudic times are reviewed. They include biotic and abiotic diseases such asshidaphon ,yerakon,kemachin (in wine), rotten fruits,beushim andmeyablin. Some optional identifications of the diseases discussed are suggested, according to modern nomenclature.
