Abstract
Since its introduction in 1916, the lentil has become a commercially important pulse in the Palouse area of eastern Washington and adjacent Idaho. Trials in the production area indicate that some recent introductions by the United States Department of Agriculture are well adapted to the area. Some of these lines may be useful in a breeding program on lentils.
