Perturbative calculations of higgs boson masses

  • Published:
Il Nuovo Cimento A (1971-1996)

Summary

Calculating the effective potentialV eff(φ 1,φ 2), in terms of two Higgs doublets in the one-loop approximation forSU 2U 1, charged and neutral Higgs-boson masses can be derived explicitly. In the presence of an invisible axion with an extra Higgs singletF, the influence of the pseudoscalar on the Higgs spectrum can be obtained withV eff(φ 1,φ 2;F) respectively simply via the tadpole method usingV eff(〈φ 1,201, 2; 〈F00) only.
