Summary
Ilford G-5 emulsions were exposed to four primary proton beams of momentum 5, 8, 12 and 24 GeV/c at different angles in the same emulsion for the study of the scattering constant at higher cell sizes. The effect of higher-order differences has been considered along with the relative scattering method to remove spurious scattering. The results appear to indicate the necessity for a slight modification in the theory of multiple Coulomb scatterings at large cell lengths.

Si sono esposte emulsioni Ilford G-5 a quattro fasci primari di protoni di impulso di 5, 8, 12 e 24 GeV/c a differenti angoli nella stessa emulsione per studiare la costante di scattering a maggiori dimensioni della cella. Si è tenuto conto dell'effetto delle differenze di ordine superiore e del metodo dello scattering relativo per eliminare lo scattering spurio. I risultati sembrano indicare la necessità di una piccola modifica alla teoria degli scattering coulombiani multipli per grandi lunghezze della cella.

Дмульсии Ильфорд G-5 экспонировались в четырех пучках протонов с начальными импульсами5, 8, 12 и 24 ГэВ/с при различных углах для одной и той же эмульсии, с целью исследования постоянной рассеяния при дольших размерах ячеек. Щыло рассмотрено влияние разностей высоких порядков при помощи метода относительного рассеяния, чтоды исключить ложное рассеяние. Результаты указывают на неодходимость некоторой модификации теории многократного кулоновского рассеяния при дольших длинах дчеек.
