Classical phase-space integral in the statistical model with angular-momentum conservation

Summary

The classical nonrelativistic phase-space integral of the statistical model of multiple production is evaluated by the steepest descent method. The conservation laws for energy-momentum, angular momentum, and centre-of-mass position are taken into account. Explicit formulae for the first (thermodynamical) and second approximations are given. The corresponding relativistic phase-space integral diverges for a Gaussian cut-off and a sharper cut-off must be applied in this case.

Si valuta, col metodo della disoesa più rapida, l’integrale dello spazio delle fasi non relativistico classico del modello statistico della produzione multipla. Si tien conto delle leggi di conservazione dell’energia-impulso, del momento angolare e della posizione del centro di massa. Si danno delle formule esplioite per la prima approssimazione (termodinamica) e la seconda. L’integrale dello spazio delle fasi relativistico corrispondente diverge per un taglio gaussiano e in questo caso si deve applicare un taglio più netto.
