Zusammenfassung

1. Das früher gefundene Zusammengehen von Formolgelierung und hohemexperimentellen Serumeiweißquotienten trifft auch aufgenuines Serum und Plasma zu.

2. Diese Beziehung ist nicht rein quantitativ, Ausnahmen sind besprochen. Doch wurde bisher beipositiver Formalinprobe die Globulinfraktion im Serum bzw. im Plasma stets vermehrt gefunden. Die Formalinprobe kann daher einer annähernd quantitativen Schätzung des Eiweißquotienten dienen.

3. Die vonGaté undPapacostas angegebene Syphilisreaktion mit Formol ist unspezifisch und klinisch wertlos.
