Abstract
This study presents a survey of the textural forms of calcium oxalate calculi. We have classified this texture into four basic types. The transformation mechanism of weddellite into whewellite is discussed at length.
According to our investigations there are two ways of formation of whewellite calculi: 1. primary formation of whewellite, and 2. secondary formation by way of weddellite transformation.
