Summary

P. symploci Pat. is a new record to India andP. dalbergiae Niessl. a new addition to the Fungi of Bombay. Association of spermogonia with the developing ascocarps has been noted in three out of the seven species described in this paper, confirming the earlier observations ofTilak (1959) of the occurrence of spermatization as a common process of sexuality in this genus.
