Summary
The distribution of an SRIF-like substance in the brain of normal lizards (Lacerta muralis Laur.) has been determined. SRIF is shown to be present in neural cell bodies in the hypothalamic paraventricular nucleus, the hypothalamo-hypophysial tractus and the median eminence.
