Abstract
Previous explicit results for the demagnetizing field and energy in in-plane periodic models of granular thin film structure are extended to comprise structure non-uniform along the film normal. Numerical results for oblique-column structures show good agreement with early mean-field estimates by Hara in the case of relatively large film thickness and low porosity.
